Introduction

G V Harrison Building Contractors Ltd is committed to doing all within its power to not add to the climate challenge. We detail here measures we are taking to minimise our impact. We all need to play our part.

Our Business

G V Harrison Building Contractors Ltd is a family run business with only three employees. We occasionally employ sub-contractors as and when required. We are based in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire and our work area extends to most of East Anglia, as well as parts of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. We supply and install all VELUX products and within that work carry out related activities such as carpentry, roofing, plastering, electrical work and decorating.

What we do

Reduce paper waste by printing less
Recycle packaging where we can
Chose our waste management company Ellgia based on their environmental policy
Schedule appointments and visits so as to lessen road miles
Use biodegradable dust sheets
Encourage customers to pick energy efficient products where possible, and where appropriate use insulated flashings for window installations.
